FULL-TIME PROGRAM & POST-GRADUATE PROGRAMS

We have excellent full-time and post-graduate programs to give our student-athletes dynamic training both on the court and in the classroom. At Impact Basketball, we hold firmly to our belief that a student-athlete must perform strongly physically and academically. Students range in age from 9th grade (14 years old) to post-graduates (20-21years old). Most attend for a full school year (September through May); however, there are opportunities to attend for one semester (September through January or January through May).

Nearly all of our students attend our partner schools, which emphasize and accommodate the flexibility of a dedicated training athlete. What is the Post Graduate Program?

Our Post-Graduate program is a seven month program (September – March) that is designed for athletes that want additional opportunities to further develop physically, boost their skills, and enhance their college recruitment opportunities following their graduation from high school. Athletes may also take courses earning college credit while completing the Post-Graduate program through our partner schools, which offer courses on campus and at the local college. Typically, there are 15-20 athletes in our Post-Graduate program. What is a typical daily training schedule?

  • WILL I PLAY ON A TEAM AT IMPACT BASKETBALL ACADEMY? All student-athletes are assigned to a team for competition. Team assignments are based on factors such as age and performance. Our number of teams and level of play depends upon enrollment. Typically, we have 2 Post-Grad and 2 High School boys programs. Our games are an extension of the training, so all players will have the opportunity to play. All of our teams play a competitive schedule. The Post-Grad program competes against junior colleges (usually the best in the nation) and in selected prep events around the nation. The High School teams play games against both local teams in the state of Florida and Nevada and in regional and national tournaments.
  • WHAT EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY LEVEL IS REQUIRED TO ATTEND IMPACT BASKETBALL ACADEMY? We take athletes of all abilities and experience levels at Impact Basketball Academy. Our coaches are experienced in training current Pros All-Stars as well as beginners. Our only admissions requirement is a love for the game of basketball and a willingness to work hard to achieve your goals. We create a constructive and positive learning experience for each student, regardless of ability or experience, and are goal is to make each player the best that they can be.
  • WILL THE IMPACT BASKETBALL ACADEMY GIVE ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLAY BASKETBALL IN COLLEGE? While it is impossible to guarantee that every student who attends Impact Basketball Academy will continue their playing career at the college level, we have an excellent record of placing our students on college basketball teams at all levels. We will make sure that your development as a basketball player gives you the opportunity to be seen by scouts and college recruiters. Each students talent and hard work will be the determining factor in your basketball future. Your academic performance will also have a significant impact on your recruitment as well. If you are able to participate in one of summer training camps, we will provide you an evaluation of your skill level and where we think you may be able to play at the collegiate level if you were to attend our full-time programs.
