Overall basketball goals are set, then each area
is addressed specifically to allow players to
reach these goals.
The multi-level training system Abunassar has
used with the likes of Chauncey Billups, Tayshaun
Prince, Al Harrington, Jared Jeffries, Sebastian
Telfair, Vince Carter, and Kevin Garnett will
be applied to produce players at all age levels
who understand exactly what it takes to play exceptional
basketball.
Impact Basketball’s and Athletes’
Performance’s staff focus on the individual
player’s weaknesses both on and off the
court to create a training environment that pushes
each player to maximize his or her abilities.
Players will set goals, then work diligently to
achieve them.
The training program of Athletes’ Performance
is one devised by physical therapists, athletic
trainers and performance coaches. It is a comprehensive
system that will maximise athletes' physical development
by incorporating the following:

1) Biomechanical Evaluation
that uses Functional Movement Screen to
assess joint function and mobility, and
core muscular stability, thereby enabling
Athletes’ Performance's professional
team to devise a corrective exercise plan.
2) Performance Testing
that assesses athletes’ physical and
cardiovascular strength and power, and speed.
3) Energy System Development
that addresses athletes’ basketball
skills needs.
4) Pillar/Foundational
Strength Development that helps develop
athletes’ balance and body control.
5) Body Weight &
Composition that helps determine ideal playing
weight and body fat/lean muscle ratio.
