Dr. Rosenfield is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty training in joint reconstruction. He completed his undergraduate training in 1984 with a degree in engineering and subsequently went on to obtain his medical degree from the University of Arizona in 1988. His orthopaedic education included fellowship training in joint reconstruction / replacement surgery from Scripps Clinic and research foundation in La Jolla, California. Dr. Rosenfield has been in private practice in La Jolla, California since 1994 with clinical emphasis on joint reconstructive surgery, total joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeon. Dr. Rosenfield believes in the close collaboration with physical therapists and athletic trainers to enhance patients' outcomes.
